Today’s Hot Place: Beauty POP-UP Store!
I visited two brands’ POP-UP store: Giorgio Armani and Bobbi Brown!
I was really thrilled, as those two are my favorites! Indeed, I also had a great time! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
But before I introduce today’s hot place, let’s first get ready!

My pick for today is the combination of the leather jacket and fur coat!
I bought this fur coat from one of my favorite Spa brand, Eightseconds!
The price was good and so was the quality! So, I had to get this one!
However, as Seoul’s weather is extremely cold these days, I decided to wear a leather jacket inside! Indeed works out good to be stylish and warm all at once! : )
Tips when layering is wear slim inners!
Usually when wearing a fur jacket or should I say coat makes you look really “chubby”.
I know that is not the “image” we were thinking of.
But there are chances for you to prevent the situation, by just wearing 2-3 slim inners inside! By so, you will still be warm and also avoid the “chubby” image.
Next for my bottoms, I went as slim as possible!
You know why. Like always, fashion is all about “balancing”!
In order to do so, I decided to wear my skinny pants and long boots!
Actually there was a special reason for me to choose the Carrera Jeans today, because they help my legs to look in a good shape! So they work out good, especially when you are wearing a short outer like today! ★

Let’s first get to know what products do I have. 😊😊
First, Giorgio Armani. The lasting silk UV foundation, fluid sheer and lip magnet!
The foundation helps get the dewy face. The fluid sheer helps to catch the glow really naturally. And, the Lip Magnet helps get the red sexy look!
For Bobbi Brown, I have the pot rouge, which also helps get the natural look! I have been using this product more as a blush as I like to have my lips bold as possible!
Summing up, red lipstick make-up will be today’s pick!
Then here comes the question: What about my eye make-up?
There are two options when you have decided to have a red lip look
: nudy or semi-smoky.
I asked myself, and got the response as semi smoky!
So, I decided to use the highly pigmented shadow palette, MAC Burgundy Times Nine.
Of course, only the brown shadows!
Here goes the technique : First apply Innisfree’s My palette M19 eye shadow as a base. Then I used the matte dark brown shadow (E), and traced the shape of my eye. For the last touch, I applied the shimmer brown shadow (D) in the inner corner of my eyes. And I used a new liner from Maybelline New york, hyper tight liner! Thanks to the design, it is really easy to draw a line! (Soon to be introduced in Soyi’s Pick!) ★

Okay, DONE! Then, let’s move to the hot places!

First, Armani Seoul Box!
I was so excited to visit the Armani Seoul Box, as I love love the brand!
The Armani Seoul Box is located in Famille Street, which is in GoSok Terminal Station.
As soon as I entered the store, just spotted a red gorilla! 🦍
He looked mean, but did not hurt a bit! lol
Armani opened a pop-store in various countries, including Paris, London, New york, Beijing, Tokyo, Hong kong, and at last, Seoul! (Applause please!)
You can try out all of Giorgio Armani’s cosmetics! For those who love to try out beauty products without keep getting an eye by some one, I guess this is your chance!
Here’s how the store looks like in entrance. You can see a partition.
On the left side, you can find out various base make-up product!
And on the right side of the partition, you can find eye and lip make-up products!
During my whole journey at the Armani Seoul Box, 2 products caught my eyes!
The eye tint and to-go cushion.
Short comments are as below:
Eye tint is highly pigmented and the texture is smooth but drys fast that helps to stay long! I have been struggling with my shadows lately, due to the cold winter wind. Every time the wind blows, I cry. So my shadows just disappear, all of a sudden! Quite stressful. But I think this tint could help that problem, that I am thinking of purchasing one!
Next is the to-go cushion. It is highly moisturized and fitted right to my hand when I applied a few. It was actually a sensation, when it was first launched in Korea. Simply because the price was way to expensive, almost like 100dollars! So I really did not get the chance to try it. However now I realized, it was that worth it!
Before I leave the store, I decided to take a photo with the red gorilla! Like this!
Now shall we go to the Bobbi Brown pop up store?
Unlike the Armani Seoul Box, Bobbi Brown’s pop-up store was more like a launching event for “the all day foundation”, their new arrival.
So, instead of a store tour, I had to participate in some events!
Indeed it was fun!
As total, there were 3 events!
First one was following Bobbi Brown Korea’s Instagram.
If done, I will get a stamp and also a sample of their new foundation.
Next step was taking a photo at the photo zone, and upload it on Instagram!
To make the photo more charming, they had some signs that you can use while taking a photo. I chose the “all day smile”!
If done, let’s move on to the try-out product corner!
Short comments for the new foundation and lipsticks are as follows:
The all day foundation focused to stay “long and lasting”. So it was really matte, that if your skin is dry I recommend to mix it with some facial oil. Thankfully, there were various shades, and it was also segmented by cool and warm tone, which I liked!
But what really caught my eyes was the lipsticks! The texture was really smooth that I liked it after application. The main colors were MLBB (aka. my lips but better) colors, so at one point, I think it will work good as lip balm!
And after trying out the whole product, I completed my last mission!
The last mission was quite simple, I just get a random sample product from Bobbi Brown! I got an ampoule, which helps to stay moisturized and cure the wrinkles!
Thanks, Bobbi Brown! That was indeed what I needed lol.
So that was the end of today’s hot place!

Unfortunately, the Bobbi Brown pop-up store just closed. But, the Armani Box Seoul is opened till March 28th 2018. : )
